WHERE TO BUY
The RUF Series Check Valve is used in places where a return flow of product in pipelines must be avoided. This check valve is utilized in brewery, dairy, chemical and pharmaceutical processing.
FEATURES
Advantages
- Reduced maintenance cost due to robust and reliable bearing. The valve has minimal parts.
- Flexible design - the valve can be installed horizontally or vertically.
- Easy to maintain - the intermediate flange design means that the valve can easily be removed from the line.
- Profile seals with ID markings that eliminate gaps and facilitate ordering of spares.
- Minimum flow resistance/pressure drop
- Smooth flow due to ball-shaped valve body
- Minimum response pressure at 0.72 psi (0.05 bar)
- Full opening cross-section at 1.16 psi (0.08 bar)
- Designed for CIP cleaning
- Soft seat seal
- The RUF3 check valve is designed for direct welding into process pipelines

- All seal materials are FDA compliant
Max. Temperature:
- EPDM, HNBR, FPM and VMQ: 275°F/135°C
- Short term: 284°F/140°C
- VMQ and FPM should not be used with hot water/steam
Max. Line Pressure: 145 PSI (10 bar)
